In this little sculpture I explored working with wood that is not straight. I used wild plum that is very crooked by nature and followed the curvature of the wood to create the shape.

This Semophant was the first that could not stand on its own (even though the previous ones were pretty wobbly) and I had to create a base for it. The base is also made from plum and is tinted and waxed.
